Anime Weekly Roundup 12.10.2017
The 2nd Anime Weekly Roundup…yay!?!? I’m still trying to get a feel for this feature, I enjoy the casualness of the writing but also sharing what I thought of the episodes I’ve watched. I don’t think I can do a whole post about an episode unless I am dissecting it but for what it is. This style is proving to be worth its’ measure.
Dragonball Super #119
This was a fun episode where Goku and gang face a different tactic of fighting.
Android 18 is so OP & Piccolo is such a weakling these days. You know it’s ok to be underpowered in the DB universe but I always thought Picollo had a grit in his fighting. Now, he seems so weak and a frail representation of who he was.
Ballroom e Youkoso #23
Finally, things are near conclusion with this arc. Let’s just say the fruits of their labor are finally showing some fruit and everyone is finally realizing it. Also, some backstory for Idogawa, Masami silent partner – silent yet deadly.
Black Clover #10
The conclusion to their recent arc. The episode just shows a little grit with all of the participants and foreshadows an incoming enemy that I assume they will all face. The action and drama were good but the fighting scenes were alright. Let’s just say compared to Naruto’s’ first main arc, which is still the standard for all shonen battle anime should strive for.
Evil or Live #9
The conclusion of Hibiki vs Hoku as they fight it out as a test to see if he’s worth her help. Some internal discord between the staff is starting to show. As well, some Shin backstory. I’m still watching this anime because I’m always interested in the zero to hero genre. I want to see where they will take this anime.
Shokugeki no Soma S3 #10
Kurokiba takes out one of the Central new recruits, need I say more. I always wonder how scientifically possible their dishes are. Like if Gordon Ramsey cooks one of those dishes, would my mind be blown away?
